The Studio, with the support of the Institute Without boundaries and Dublin City Enterprise Board will host an intensive service design workshop (charrette) in early July focusing on business startups.
The two and a half day event will address:
– how Dublin can effectively encourage, support and create opportunities for the city’s startups and entrepreneurs
– how the city’s systems and resources can be used to develop new business ideas
– whether we can share our experiences and skills to quickly design effective initiatives
Irish enterprise support has traditionally been provided by a range of diverse national and local bodies. Dublin City Council has now a new role in directly supporting the Local Enterprise Offices (LEOs) and the Digital Hub. This changing environment gives the opportunity to examine how these and other city systems, resources and assets could be leveraged to support early business development.
Startup City will use a unique collaborative process that will bring together all relevant parties to develop innovative solutions to these complex issues. Over two and half days, interdisciplinary teams will be facilitated to design solutions to particular challenges and will present the final results to an expert panel.
More information and updates will be available here shortly.
