Urban Knights was a series of talks organised by the Science Gallery, Trinity College Dublin, that celebrated urban crusaders, innovators and those who are actively changing how we behave, think and engage with the city.
Deirdre Ní Raghallaig, head of The Studio, gave one of the talks and reflected on setting up a citizen and council innovation hub.
Other participants from Dublin City Council included Roy O’Donnell and Dick Gleeson. Roy, who works in from the Environment and Engineering Department, presented his original designs which have transformed out city drainage system. Dick Gleeson, City Architect, looked at plans for how we could re-imagine the docklands.
