A Directly Elected Mayor for Dublin? Have your say

On Thursday 10th Ocotber the Studio team will take to the streets of Dublin to conduct on street conversations with Dubliners to get their views on a directly elected Mayor for Dublin. We will be on the streets from 4.00-8.00pm in various locations in Dublin City Centre including O’Connell Street Median (adjacent to the Spire) Grafton Street / South King Street / Aungier Street / Camden Street

This is part of a wider consultation process by the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Mayor of Fingal, Mayor of South Dublin and theCathaoirleach of Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Councils.

There is an online survey and further information available on www.mayor4dublin.ie

Following the various consultations the Group will put together a draft proposal for the Minister for the Environment and it is expected that these proposals will form the basis of a plebiscite (ballot) that will be put to all Dubliners next May.

Come and give us your views
